1000 Calories Menu Recipes Day 6 Breakfast Menu Recipes

A. Skim Milk, 1 cup

B. egg, 1 boiled

C. Small red bean porridge(20g small red,30g rice)

   Ingredients:

   20g small red bean

   30g rice

   500g clean water

   Procedure:

   1. Clean rice,soaked in water(100g) at least 30mins.

      b. Clean small red bean.

   2. a. Boil water(400g) in a cooker,add small red bean.

      b. Boil about 30mins, or until the bean breaks.

      c. Add rice(together with the soaked water),bring to boil.

      d. Continue to boil 40mins over low heat.Stir 2-3 times.

   3. Turn off heat,stay for 5mins with cover before serve.

D. Radish salad

   Ingredients:

   50g radish,

   5g sesame oil

   1/3 tsp soy sauce

   1/4 tsp salt

   1/2 tsp vinegar

   1/2 tsp sugar

   Procedure:

   1. Clean radish,cut into 2cm cubes,add salt,marinate for 20mins(or do it the previous night)

   2. Add sesame oil,soy sauce,vinegar,stir well,serve.

E. Fresh Fruit Juice, 1cup

A. Steamed rice,(50g rice,142g(4 1/2ounce) after steamed),see Day 1 Lunch A.

B. Stir-fried sliced fish with clover blossom

   Ingredients:

   50g fish,

   100g clover blossom,

   5g olive oil

   1/2 tsp shallot,

   1/2 tsp ginger

   1/2 tsp mashed garlic

   1/2 tsp salt

   1/2 tsp rice wine

   1 tsp water-cornstarch

   500g water

Procedure:

1. a.Clean fish,cut into slices.

   b. Place in a bowl,add 1/4 tsp salt,1/4 ginger,1/2 tsp rice wine and 1/2 water-cornstarch,stir well,marinate for 15mins.

   c. Boil water in a cooker, put fish in a colander/food strainer and quick-boil fish slices in the water.Drain well,set aside.

2. a.Wash clover blossom,cut into 4cm section.Drain well.

   b. Heat the oil in a wok until 110C.

   c. Add shallot,the rest ginger,rice wine.Stir 2 times.

   d. Add clover blossom,stir-fry until half cooked.

   e. Add 2 tsp water,add fish slices,stir fry.

   f. Add the rest salt,simmer for 5mins over low heat.

   g. Add the rest water-cornstarch,stir well.Add mashed garlic,stir 2 times.serve.

A.Rice with fresh lotus leaf porridge

  Ingredients:

  50g rice,

  1 piece lotus leaf

  500g water

  Procedure:

  1. Clean rice,soak in 100g water for at least 30mins.

  2. Boil 400g water in a cooker,add lotus leaf. Continue boil for 10mins over low heat.

  3. Take out lotus leaf. Add rice with soaked water.

  4. Bring to a boil,cook for 40mins over low heat.

  5. Turn off heat,serve when becomes warm.

B. Stir fried mushroom with carrot

   Ingredients:

   50g mushroom, soaked

   50g carrot

   5g olive oil

   1/2 tsp garlic,chopped

   1/2 tsp shallot

   1/3 salt

   Procedure:

   1. Clean mushroom and carrot,drian well, cut into shreds,set aside respectively.

   2. a. Heat the olive oil in a wok until about 110C.

      b. Add shallot,stir,add carrot and mushroom,stir.

      c. Add 2 tbs hot water,simmer for 10mins with cover over medium heat.

      d. Add salt,stir fry 1min. Add garlic,turn off heat,serve.

Remind: 1000 Calorie Menu is 7-day diet plan only for those obese people who just began their lose-weight diet plan, or those who want to lose weight fast and slim in short term.

As a normal person needs at least 1200 Calories to keep basic activities each day, so no matter what conditions you are in , you shouldn't try this menu for above 2 weeks.
