Tofu and Celery with Millet Congee Recipe


60g tofu

50g celery

150g millet

1 teaspoon soy sauce


1. Clean millet, add in a rice cooker, 10times water. Bring to a boil, continue to cook 30mins over low heat or until thoroughly cooked.

2. Clean celery, chop. Clean tofu, cut into 0.1cm cubes.

3. Add celery and tofu in the millet congee, continue to cook 5mins, add soy sauce or other sauce to taste.Serve.

Serving Method: Serve with warm in the morning and in the evening. A cup each time.

Beneficial Function: To clear heat,detoxification, reduce blood pressure and sugar, remove fat. Suitable for those who are with hypertension, coronary heart disease, diabetes and hyperlipidemia.

Tips: 1. If you don't have millet, you may use corn powder instead.

     2. Celery and tofu must be cut into very small, they won't be tasty in big pieces in congee.
