Stir fried Asparagus with Wild Rice Stem
This Stir fried Asparagus recipe prepared with Wild Rice Stem, very tasty and refreshing.
Ingredients:
100g asparagus
100g wild rice stem (Jiao Bai in Chinese)
Seasoning A
1 teaspoon salt
2 cup stock
Seasoning B
1 teaspoon shallot, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
Seasoning C
{1 teaspoon oyster oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch,mix with water}
1 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
Procedure:
1. Clean asparagus and JiaoBai. Add Seasoning A in a saucepan, bring to a
boil.
2. Add asparagus and JiaoBai. Bring to a boil again. Take out,drain well. Cut
into small section.
3. Heat oil in a wok, add Seasoning B,stir fry till fragrance comes out. Add
asparagus and JiaoBai sections. Stir fry several times. Add seasoning C, stir
fry 2mins.
4. Turn off heat, arrange on a plate.

obesity,etc.
Wild rice stem (JiaoBai) is popular in South of China. It's also called white
