Healthy Ground Turkey Recipes
This healthy ground turkey recipe is made by way of steam,so it's low fat, tender and delicious, suitable for kids,senior people,those who are with hyperlipidemia,etc.
1/2 cup ground turkey
2 or 3 black mushroom,soaked
2 tablespoon carrot, chopped
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 tablespoon onions, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon olive oil
Direction for healthy ground turkey
1. Prepare ground turkey
a. Clean mushroom, chopped. Add mushroom and carrot in a saucepan,add water. Boil for 10mins. Take out.Drain well.
b. Add ground turkey in a big bowl, add mushroom and carrot,add seasoning A. Stir along the same direction till totally mixed.
c. Let it stay for 15mins.
2. Prepare thin egg pancake(2 or 3 cakes for one egg).
a. Crack egg into a big bowl,add 1/4 teaspoon salt, beat till egg white and york blender well.
b. On medium heat,put 1/2 teaspoon oil in a wok, sway making sure the oil spread on the bottom of the wok. (or brush a layer oil on the bottom) You cannot add too much oil(just a layer). Otherwise egg blender will bubble and so cannot form a cake.
c. Slip 1/2 egg blender into the wok, quickly sway making sure the liquid spread on the bottom of the wok. After you spread, one piece of thin egg pancake is done. Open a slot along the edge by a forkCquickly take out by fingers.Put on a plate.
d. Repeat,make the 2nd or 3rd thin egg pancake.
3. Spread one piece of thin egg pancake on a big plate, spread a piece of seaweed(Nori which usually used for making Sushi) on egg cake.Spread ground turkey. Roll. Repeat for another roll.
4. Put rolls on the drawer of a steamer. Steam for 18 to 20mins.
5. Take out the rolls, cut into 2cm long sections. Arrange on a plate. Serve.
Serving Method: Serve this healthy ground turkey over steamed rice. Serve as main dish.
Tip: You can use ground turkey to cook stir fry tofu or other vegetables, or cook fried rice. All these dishes are very delicious and healthy.
