Tuckahoe

Tuckahoe is traditional Chinese herb which can be used as obesity diet food.

Tuckahoe has the function of moistening, invigorating spleen,calming,losing weight and removing fat.

Every morning eating tuckahoe when your stomach is empty. Sticking to 2 months will not only cure your edema but also has good effect to lose weight.

Tuckahoe is always served as soup or porridge. 

Obesity Diet Food- Tuckahoe Recipe

Steamed Tuckahoe with Toufu Recipe

Ingredients:

30g tuckahoe powder

40g pine nut

500g toufu

20g carrot

20g corn

20g pea

1 egg white

10ml olive oil

1 tsp rice wine

1 cup stock

1 tsp cornstarch,mixed with water

1/2 tsp salt

Procedure:

1. a.Clean carrot,cut into small cubes,the same size as pea.

   b. Mix rice wine,cornstarch and salt into ingredient sauce.

2. a. Put toufu and tuckahoe in a big bowl.Add half of the above ingredient sauce(1b),stir well.

   b. Put the bowl in a steamer, steam for 8mins.

3. a. Heat the oil in a wok until about 110C.

   b. Add pine nut, corn, carrot, and pea, stir several times.

   c. Add the rest ingredient sauce, stir fry for 5mins.

4. Take out the bowl, pour 3c in the bowl, serve.

Serving Method:(6 servings)

Serve as main dish at breakfast,lunch or dinner. 100g per serving.
