I finally have time to write to you now. Just finished the project MyChi- completed the prototype and launched indiegogo campaign. If you are interested in, take a look at this link:  http://igg.me/at/mychi/x/10888500

MyChi helps to improve sleep and health by analyzing users' sleep pattern, delivering food therapy, acupressure and exercise suggestions.

Recently there is a big news among holistic health and Traditional Chinese Medicine lovers and practitioners. Chinese doctor Youyou Tu was awarded Nobel Prize for her finding Chinese medicine ArtemisiaannuaLto cure alaria . It’s an inspiration for us, as well as a sign that alternative treatment is getting more and more important. In fact we can adjust by using food, exercise, and acupressure in time when there is imbalance in our body. So those imbalances won't develop into chronic or serious diseases.

Good luck to us

Effective Autumn/Winter Cough Remedy Menu

Many friends around me got cough seriously these half month. I worked out a menu to them. They said it was effective.
I share with you here.

Autumn cough is caused by dryness, cold, and weak spleen. So treatment should try to solve these three problems.

Many coughs in fall and winter are caused by cold.So don't eat cold food or iced drinks. Don't drink green tea, whether it's warm or cold. It's very important that only eat warm foods. Eat less raw food. Don't eat grilled food. Don't eat spicy food such as chilli, curry, alcohol, etc.

Many foods have moisterising function such as honey, sesame oil, sesame seeds, pear, walnut, daikon radish, loquat, LuoHanGuo, rice congee, etc.

The following is the meal plan for a day:

Breakfast
1. Drink Ginger Brown Sugar tea, one or half a cup
2. Eat Rice Congee(or you can try oatmeal)
3. Steamed Cabbage, mixed with rice vinegar and sesame oil (or olive oil)
4. one egg, hard boiled or scrambled;

Lunch
Warm food and warm drinks (better chicken noodle soup or beef noodle soup)
mid-afternoon: pear

Dinner
Daikon Radish Beef Soup + noodle or pasta or rice or bread
1 tablespoon honey + 1/2 cup water.

Note: 1.If you are vegetarian just replace chicken or beef with tofu.

Explanation of the menu:
7-9am is the stomach network working time and 9-11am is the spleen network working time. Rice porridge nourish the stomach and spleen while cabbage protects stomach. In the meantime rice porridge moisturizes the lung.
Ginger Brown Sugar Tea helps to promote Yang qi and warm stomach in the morning.
Patients usually have fever or feel dysphoria in the afternoon or at night. It’s better to eat some fruits that clear away heat such as pears.
